In 1996 Patek Philippe were the first manufacture ever to produce an Annual Calendar time-piece. Requiring only a single date adjustment at the end of February, the displayed date is always correct throughout the year, irrespective of whether the month contains 30 or 31 days. For this patented and innovative breakthrough in watch-making, Patek Philippe won Swiss Watchmaker of the Year for 1996 and, with variations, its Annual Calendar has remained in production ever since.
Regarded as one of Patek Philippe’s flagship models, its beautiful movement, signed with the Patek Philippe seal, can be viewed through the sapphire-glass caseback. This lovely gold time-piece, with additional moon-phase and power-reserve displays, is accurate to -3/+2 seconds per day and is surely the perfect luxury watch to be worn and enjoyed whatever the occasion.
