Introduced in 2008, it was developed to withstand the intense pressures of deep-sea exploration. Its name pays homage to the pioneering spirit of James Cameron’s historic solo dive to the Mariana Trench in 2012, where he wore a specially designed experimental Rolex Deepsea Challenge prototype.
At 44mm in diameter and equipped with a helium escape valve, the Deepsea can withstand depths of up to 3,900 meters (12,800 feet), making it a favorite among professional divers and enthusiasts alike.
