F.P.Journe Chronometre Souverain. 40mm diameter platinum case ; a case height of 8mm. Inspired by the nineteenth century chronometry of marines, this rare timepiece features the calibre 1304 manual-winding movement that can be viewed through the exhibition case-back. Features of the movement include an 18k rose gold base-plate and bridges, twin barrels, 22 jewels, a 21,600 vph escapement, and a power reserve of 56 hours. A smooth platinum bezel surrounds the whitened silver guilloche dial decorated with black Arabic numerals and a railroad outer minutes track. Central blued steel hours and minute hands ; a small seconds subsidiary dial between the seven and eight o’clock position. A power reserve indicator at the three o’clock position. Black alligator leather strap with a platinum pin buckle. Box and papers dated 2006. F.P.Journe service in 2024. With additional brown, turquoise, burgundy and green alligator leather F.P.
