The Cartier La Doña was introduced in 2006, inspired by Mexican actress María Félix, a longtime Cartier client known for her bold style and love of jewellery. The watch features a distinctive, curved, trapezoid-shaped case and serpent-style bracelet, echoing the crocodile jewellery Cartier created for her. It remains a rare, feminine, and collectible Cartier design.
