Water resistant up to 150 metres (15 bar). Self winding chronometer certified calibre 3602 movement (based on ETA 2892-A2 with Dubois Dépraz regatta module), offering approximately 44 hour power reserve. Fixed stainless steel bezel. Silver (white/silver) dial with external black minute ring, raised rhodium plated hour markers with luminous dots, skeletonized Super LumiNova hands, plus blue/red regatta countdown indicators and red chronograph hands. Sub-dials: 30 minute counter at 3 o’clock, 12 hour counter at 12 o’clock, and small seconds at 9 o’clock. Central chronograph seconds. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. Stainless steel bracelet with double deployment clasp. Box and papers dated November 2011. Service papers dated May 2018.

The Omega Seamaster NZL‑32 Regatta Chronograph was introduced in the early 2000s as a special tribute to Team New Zealand and their legendary yacht NZL‑32, which dominated the 1995 America’s Cup. NZL‑32 became an icon in the world of competitive sailing, and Omega, a long-standing partner in the sport, celebrated the team’s historic win with this unique regatta chronograph.

What sets this model apart is its specialised countdown function—a colourful regatta timer designed to help sailors track the critical moments before a race starts. The blue-to-red indicator in the black centre o’clock visually counts down 15 minutes, a crucial timing window in yacht racing.

Unlike most chronographs, the pushers are placed on the left-hand side of the case—a distinctive design choice intended to improve usability while racing and to give the watch a unique character. Powered by the Omega Calibre 3602, based on the reliable ETA 2892-A2 with a Dubois-Dépraz chronograph module, the watch combines functionality, durability, and precision.
